Job Description
Our client, a leading player in the Sydney futures market is seeking a candidate available on short notice to join a small team supporting market operations on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role will give you a great exposure to all facets of the trade cycle with exposure across many areas of the company.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Daily reconciliation of SFE and internal breaks
Dealing with Give Up Trades and explicit ASX Futures
Confirming all trades are booked and settled correctly
Being the single point of contact for front office and external counterparties for any settlement issues.
To be considered for the role you will:
Have 2-5 years experience across Futures from either a broking or Investment Banking background.
Have strong problem solving skills.
Be self motivated and be able to work well with others.
Work to tight deadlines.
