Medical Matters is a mixed-billing practice located in the Murrumba Downs shopping centre, servicing over 10,000 active patients with 4 doctors and 3 nurses.
We are recruiting a part time medical receptionist to work two or three days a week.
Key responsibilities
Greet and register patients
Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
Document patient information in a clinically effective manner that conforms to legal requirements and practice policy including billing information
Inform patients of medical office procedures and policy
Maintain and manage patient records
Move patients through appointments as scheduled
Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
Transfer calls as required
Obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals
About you
Medical receptionist experience would be beneficial
Strong customer service background acceptable as full training will be given
Ability to safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
