Job Description
Tocumwal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute care team on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an in-charge role in a regional NSW setting, offering the chance to lead a small team while delivering direct patient care in a rapid-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring ED or acute care experience, triage expertise, and a track record of managing clinical teams effectively.

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Current Registered Nurse (RN) registration with AHPRA
n




Demonstrated experience in Emergency Department, Acute care, or Aged Care nursing
n
Proven in-charge or team leadership experience in a clinical setting
n
Solid triage assessment skills and experience managing patient flow
n
Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions under pressure
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
n
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
n
Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
