We're looking for a hands‐on Service Technician to join our team on a casual basis. You'll be responsible for servicing and repairing our range of welding and fusion equipment, while keeping customers updated throughout the repair process.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Service, maintain, repair and calibrate butt fusion/welding machines, IR fusion machines, electrofusion machines and other GF equipment
n
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and carry out required repairs
n
Inspect, test and calibrate machines to ensure they are operating safely and correctly before being returned to customers
n
Manage incoming service and repair jobs, including identifying required parts and coordinating repairs
n
Communicate directly with customers, providing updates on faults, repair requirements, costs and expected repair/turnaround times
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Background as a Maintenance Fitter, Electrician,



Service Technician or similar trade
n
Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting and fault‐finding skills
n
Experience servicing, repairing or maintaining machinery and technical equipment
n
Valuable communication skills and confidence dealing directly with customers
n
Hands‐on, reliable, organised and able to manage service jobs independently
n
