is seeking a motivated 1st Year Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice to join one of our established host employers in Artarmon, NSW.
n
This is a outstanding opportunity to start your apprenticeship in a professional automotive workshop, where you'll work alongside experienced technicians, gain hands-on experience with real vehicles and develop the practical skills needed to become a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic.
n
You'll earn while you learn and complete your AUR***** Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, building experience across vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
n
No previous automotive experience is required. If you're passionate about cars, mechanically minded and ready to learn, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Working alongside qualified technicians, you'll develop hands-on skills in:
n
n
Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
n
Assisting with the diagnosis and repair of mechanical faults.
n
Inspecting and repairing braking, steering and suspension systems.
n
Assisting with engine and drivetrain repairs.
n
Replacing worn or damaged mechanical components.
n
Carrying out vehicle inspections and safety checks.Learning to use modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
n
Checking and replacing fluids, filters and other service components.
n
Following manufacturer specifications and repair procedures.
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
n
n
As your skills and confidence develop, you'll gradually take on more complex servicing, diagnostic and repair work under the guidance of experienced technicians.
n

No experience? No problem. Previous workshop experience or a Certificate II is not required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, genuine interest in the trade and commitment to completing their apprenticeship.
