A Townsville based building company, who are long-standing providers of quality building repairs to the insurance industry, are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Administrator.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. This position is predominantly focused on Accounts Receivable and debtor management. However, as part of a team-oriented finance team, the role will also contribute to Accounts Payable and other finance functions during peak workloads, month-end processes, and periods of staff leave.

The role of Accounts Administrator will include but is not limited to;
n
Manage & maintain company aged accounts receivables.
n
Proactively follow up overdue invoices via phone and email.
n
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
n
Investigate and resolve account queries in a timely manner.
n
Prepare weekly aged receivables reports; internal and external.
n
Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
n




Ensuring data entry across multiple databases and programs is appropriate and up to date.
n
Ensuring that all tasks are successfully managed to company and client expectations within the required timeframes.
n
The successful applicant will possess;
n
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
n
Previous experience in an Accounts/Accounts Admin position
n
High attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Ability to work independently while meeting targets.
n
Previous MYOB experience preferable.
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a busy and diverse environment
n
A proactive and solution focused mindset
n
Strong work ethic and highly motivated
n
The ability to obtain a clear National Police Check
n
