An exciting prospect has become available for an Intermediate Accountant or Senior Accountant to join a well-established Chartered Accounting firm . This respected practice combines the technical expertise of a larger firm with the personalised service of a boutique adviser, delivering high-quality tax and business advisory services to a diverse client base.

Working with experienced Managers and Partners, you will gain exposure to a broad range of clients including SMEs, family-owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals and not-for-profit organisations. With a strong emphasis on mentoring, training and career development, this is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to accelerate their professional growth.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals
n
Preparing BAS, IAS, FBT returns,



GST reconciliations and payroll tax calculations
n
Assisting with tax planning, tax research and drafting client advice letters
n
Exposure to tax matters including Division 7A, Capital Gains Tax, Payroll Tax and Small Business CGT Concessions
n
Responding to client queries via phone and email
n
Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
n
n
About you:
n
n
Minimum 2 years' Business Services/Tax experience within an Australian public practice firm
n
CA or CPA qualified, studying or looking to commence
n
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
n
A proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
n
n
