Coordinator (Exhibitions & Events) - Freight Forwarding

Events and exhibition freight is one of those niches that finds you, and once it does, it's hard to go back to standard forwarding. The pace is different. The cargo is different. And the satisfaction of getting everything to the right place before the curtain goes up? That's different too.

Based in Matraville with travel to client sites when needed, you'll be joining an Australian-owned forwarder that's been in the market for over two decades. Small, close-knit, and run by a hands-on owner who's genuinely invested in the team.

You will
n
Coordinate live events and exhibition cargo movements across air, ocean, and domestic transport
n




Plan inbound and outbound cargo including commercial invoice, temporary import, and ATA Carnet shipments
n
Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to manage complex and time-sensitive scenarios
n
Organise load-outs and truck cross-loads for major events and concerts Australia-wide
n
Coordinate with the warehouse team on after-hours event inbounds and delicate cargo handling
n
Prepare project quotes and invoicing for events and exhibition shipments
n
You have
n
Experience in freight forwarding operations, ideally with exposure to events, exhibitions, or project cargo
n
Confidence liaising with multiple stakeholders across tight timeframes
n
Ability to travel occasionally to client sites when needed
n
A genuine interest in the live events or exhibitions logistics space is a bonus
n
