Manuka Park Serviced Apartments is looking for a new Housekeepers to join our team on a casual basis. We can offer flexible schedule and hands on training in a friendly small team environment. Ideal candidates are interested in the hotel industry and are looking for2 to 3 shifts per week, between the hours of 9am to 3pm, 7 days per week but primarily on the weekend.

Manuka Park provides Four Star serviced apartments to business and leisure visitors to Canberra. Ideally located opposite the Manuka Oval we are a busy hotel with very high occupancy levels and a large number of repeat visitors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong attention to detail
n
Ability to work individually and under pressure
n
Friendly, co-operative and responsible attitude.
n
Available to work shifts between 9am and 3pm,
weekdays and weekends
n
A good level of fitness and high personal hygiene standards
n
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential
n
n
Some of your duties will include:
n

Acknowledging every guest in a prompt and courteous manner
n
Preparing apartments for guest arrivals
n
Servicing apartments during guests stays
n
Liaising with hotel maintenance andreception team members
n
Carrying out other duties as directed by management
n
n
Previous experience in a housekeeping role is highly regarded, however not essential as full training and support will be provided to all successful applicants.
