We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Semi Tipper Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role
n
As our Semi Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for transporting scrap metal and recyclable materials between customer sites, our yard and other facilities.
n
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
Safely operating a semi tipper to transport scrap metal and recyclable materials
n
Completing pickups and deliveries across Melbourne and surrounding areas
n
Loading and unloading as required
n
Conducting daily pre-start checks and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
n
Ensuring loads are safe, secure and compliant with transport requirements
n




Using an iPad and our internal systems to manage daily jobs and paperwork
n
Communicating clearly with our transport team, customers and yard staff
n
Maintaining a skilled and courteous manner when attending customer sites
n
Keeping the truck clean and well maintained
n
Following all company safety procedures and Chain of Responsibility requirements
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
Current MC or HC licence
n
Previous semi tipper experience
n
Experience operating heavy vehicles in a busy transport environment
n
A strong understanding of load restraint and safe transport practices
n
A good driving record and strong commitment to safety
n
Good communication and time-management skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
n
Confidence using an iPad or similar technology for daily job management
n
Scrap metal, recycling, construction or waste industry experience would be highly regarded
n
