Full-Time Gardener/ Maintenance – Early Learning Centre's

Location: Smithfield Village ELC, Bluewater Village ELC & Cairns Early Learning

Employment Type: Full-Time.

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and dedicated Gardener/ Maintenance to join our team across our three Early Learning Centre's. This rewarding role plays a vital part in maintaining the beautiful outdoor environments that support children's learning, exploration, and wellbeing. 37.5 hours per week.

As our
Gardener/Maintenance,
you will help create and maintain safe, inviting, and engaging outdoor spaces for children, families, and staff across our sister centre's:

Smithfield Village Early Learning Centre
n
Bluewater Village Early Learning Centre
n
Cairns Early Learning Centre
n

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Perform regular garden maintenance, including mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, mulching, and planting
n
Ensure all grounds are maintained to a high standard and kept clean, tidy, and free from debris
n
Water, fertilise, and care for plants, trees, and garden beds
n
Monitor landscaping and identify any maintenance issues requiring attention
n
Maintain gardening equipment and tools in valuable working order
n
Support the centres' commitment to sustainability and natural learning environments
n
Collaborate with educators to enhance outdoor learning and play spaces for children.
n
Ability to complete
hanyman/maintenance




jobs as required for the Centre's.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Proven experience as a Gardener, Groundskeeper, or Landscaper
n
Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping practices
n
Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
n
Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
n
A genuine passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces
n
A current driver's licence.
n
Previous Experience around
maintenance/handyman
tasks.
n
