Our architecturally-designed, purpose-built childcare centre inThe Junction near Newcastlehas an opportunity for a Cook / Kitchen Hand to prepare and cook meals for our children.
The centre is a small 3-room centre, and is staffed by awelcoming and compassionate teamof educators.
We are inviting applications from enthusiastic cooks who are looking towork part time, between 8am and 1.30pm, Monday to Friday.
This opportunity is ideal for home cooks and experienced chefs alike, and would suit someone who enjoysworking independentlyin asupportive environment.
Professional cooking experience is not required: passionate home cooks are welcome to apply!

Duties include:
Preparing and cooking simple meals and snacks for children
Maintaining an exceptional level of cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas
Current Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Strong attention to safe food handling procedures
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Hours: 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between school hours)
