Key responsibilities
The role works collaboratively with senior executives, policy teams, and program areas to deliver initiatives that contribute to improved justice, social, and community outcomes for Aboriginal Victorians.
Provide authoritative advice to the Executive Director and senior executives on Aboriginal policy, priorities, and emerging issues.
Lead strategic projects for the Executive Director and across the division that address key challenges and opportunities, and improve outcomes for Aboriginal Victorians.
Develop, coordinate and support regional executive engagement with Aboriginal communities and organisations.
What you need
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Aboriginal community, both society and culture, and the issues impacting it.
Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and work effectively with the Victorian Aboriginal community.
