Security Licence:Our Scholarship Program supports you to complete your Certificate II in Security Operations and obtain your licence.
Defence Clearance:MSS Security will fund your required Defence security clearance, subject to eligibility - Return of service applies.
About the Role
MSS Security is looking for Security Officers to join our Defence team across multiple sites in the Australian Capital Territory.
We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Site Security & Patrols- Monitoring access points, conducting regular foot patrols and maintaining a strong security presence to protect personnel, assets and infrastructure.
Stakeholder Engagement- Liaising professionally with Defence personnel, contractors and visitors while supporting a safe and secure environment.
Incident Response & Emergency Management- Responding promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, suspicious activity and security incidents.
Compliance & Reporting- Following Defence security procedures and site protocols while accurately documenting incidents, shift activities and observations.
Requirements:
Valid ACT Security Licence or be willing to obtain
Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
Valid driver's licence
Availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
Hold the required security clearance or be willing to obtain one
