About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Counsellor || Therapeutic Case Manager to join our dedicated team in Cannonvale or Bowen.
In this rewarding role, you'll provide trauma-informed counselling and case management to empower clients on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct client intake, assessment, and risk/safety planning
Deliver trauma-informed counselling (individual and group)
Provide immediate and ongoing support for victims of DFV and sexual violence




Advocate for clients in court and assist with DFV orders
Facilitate educational programs and community awareness initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with legislation
Collaborate with agencies to enhance client safety and outcomes

Position Details & Remuneration
Full-time role: 76 hours per fortnight
Salary based on SCHADS Award Level 4–5 || $***** - $***** per hour
What You'll Need
Essential
Diploma of Counselling
Current Queensland Blue Card
Current Driver's Licence
Desirable
Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline
2+ years' experience in DFV or sexual violence support
Understanding of trauma-informed practice
Eligibility or working towards membership with AASW, APS, ACA, or PACFA
