Travel Consultant – Independent Tour Operator, Sydney.

Part-time, approx 20 hours per week
n
Pro-rated Part-time Salary (20 hrs/week): $37,000 - $40,000
n
6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
n

Key responsibilities
n
n
Supporting the team across all elements of group tour bookings
n
Flight planning, booking and ticketing using Amadeus
n
Managing services such as hotels, stopovers and airport transfers
n
Invoicing and collecting payments for travel services
n
Ongoing communication with customers
n
Preparing and sending travel documentation
n
n
About you
n
n
At least 3 years of GDS (Amadeus) experience
n
At least 5 years of experience in the travel industry
n
n
Previous experience within a tour operator, or with private groups highly advantageous
n
n
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
n
Passionate about travel,



with a good knowledge of "lesser travelled" destinations
n
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
n
Ability to be proactive and self-manage systems and tasks
n
