This is an outstanding opportunity for a Consultant Rehabilitation Physician to join a well-established Geriatric and Rehabilitation Service delivering inpatient, ambulatory and outreach care from a modern, purpose-built rehabilitation unit.

You will work alongside experienced medical, nursing and allied health professionals while contributing to education, service development and clinical leadership.
The Opportunity
You will provide high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services across inpatient and ambulatory settings, supporting patients with complex medical and rehabilitation needs.
Providing specialist rehabilitation assessment and treatment
Leading and supervising an inpatient treating team
Supporting effective patient flow, admission and discharge planning
Working collaboratively with nursing, allied health and community services
Supervising Registrars, Principal House Officers and junior medical staff
Participating in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
Contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement and research
Participating in after-hours and on-call services as required

A total remuneration package of up to $564,939 per annumis available, depending on experience and appointment level.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold:
Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM); or
An overseas specialist qualification assessed as substantially comparable in Rehabilitation Medicine
Eligibility for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
