Job Description
DXT is seeking an experienced and hands-on PM Operations Supervisor to oversee the afternoon/evening warehouse and linehaul operation. This is a key operational leadership role responsible for ensuring freight is processed, loaded, restrained and dispatched safely and on time.

Key responsibilities
n
Manage and supervise the PM warehouse and loading team
n
Coordinate daily freight movements and scheduled linehaul departures
n
Ensure freight is correctly sorted, scanned and loaded onto the appropriate linehaul
n
Monitor freight to minimise missed movements and unnecessary holdovers
n
Ensure full compliance with DXT scanning and TMS processes
n
Take responsibility for safe loading and correct load restraint across all outbound vehicles and trailers
n
Ensure loads are appropriately positioned, distributed and restrained prior to departure
n
Stop and rectify any unsafe or incorrectly restrained load before a vehicle leaves the depot
n
Ensure required trailer/load photographs and safety checks are completed
n
Manage staff productivity, labour requirements and overtime
n
Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse
n
Monitor priority customer freight and escalate potential service failures
n
Complete an accurate PM-to-AM operational handover

About You
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Previous supervisory experience in transport, logistics or warehousing.
n
Strong knowledge of linehaul and freight operations.
n
Sound understanding of load restraint and transport safety requirements.
n
Strong leadership and communication skills.
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
n
Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
n
Experience with Trans Virtual or similar transport systems is desirable.
n
Forklift licence highly regarded.
n
MC license highly regarded
n
n
