Your new role
n
As the Workplace Health & Safety Advisor, you will partner with stakeholders to promote best practice safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing practical WHS advice and guidance to business units and leaders
n
Supporting the implementation and improvement of workplace health and safety initiatives
n
Monitoring and analysing safety performance data, trends, and reporting outcomes
n
Conducting workplace inspections, audits, and incident investigations
n




Applying risk management principles to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
n
Maintaining WHS management systems and supporting continuous improvement activities
n
Assisting with the development and review of policies, procedures, and safety documentation
n
n
What you'll need to succeed
n
n
Previous experience in a Workplace Health & Safety, Safety Advisor, or similar role
n
Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, principles, and best practice frameworks
n
Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits
n
Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret safety data
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
n
