ABOUT THE ROLE
n
Position
n
As a member of Council's road maintenance team, this position plays an important role in keeping our roadsides well maintained by safely and efficiently operating a side arm tractor to undertake roadside slashing across the Shire.
n
This position will also be responsible for providing relief operation of other plant and equipment and contributing to a range of operational activities associated with road construction and maintenance works.

To be successful you will bring

Work Safely in the Construction Industry Induction ticket (white card).

Class MR driver licence with relevant operational experience and a good and safe driving record.
n
Demonstrated high level competence in the operation of a Side Arm Tractor in a civil construction and maintenance working environment.
n
Willingness to operate and obtain tickets in a variety of plant including Backhoe, Excavator, Roller, Patching Truck, Street Sweeper, Backhoe, Front End Loader, Excavator and Side Arm.
n
Demonstrated understanding of and experience in civil construction duties associated with roads and roadsides.

A salary range of $63,700 to $73,100 per annum (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
