Job Description
We are looking for a personable, driven, and professional People and Culture Coordinator to join a small but passionate and effective HR Team, on an ongoingfull-time basis.

This is a broad generalist role where you'll be involved across the entire employee lifecycle. You will often be the first point of contact for People & Culture and the go-to person for everyday questions, while making sure our people data, records and documentation are accurate, organised and compliant.
n
You will gain exposure to all areas of People & Culture, giving you the opportunity to broaden your skillset and, as your experience grows, take on more complex people matters and projects.
n
You will develop a detailed understanding of BMT, and work closely with managers and their teams to support our people priorities.
n
With a balance of operational HR support, talent acquisition, pay and conditions administration, employee life cycle activities and some meatier projects to sink your teeth into, this is a true generalist position suited to someone who is self-motivated, curious and enjoys helping others.

What we're looking for

You're approachable, confident communicating with people at all levels, and have a natural ability to build strong working relationships. You're equally comfortable working autonomously, don't mind a little (or sometimes a lot) of administration, and you thrive on seeing results for others. You will bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine commitment to building your career in Human Resources. Just as importantly, you like to have a laugh and enjoy your work!

Ideally, you will have:
n
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, or proven experience in a relevant human
resources/administration
position.
n
Sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices and techniques, and an innovative approach to application
n
Robust organisational, coordination and time management skills
n




Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills
n
The ability to remain objective and composed through difficult situations
n
Sound judgement and a strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality
n
Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
