Organic Bread Bar, a busy artisan bakery located in Paddington, is seeking a Night Baker to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to handle the daily operations of the bakery. Night shift hours are 11pm-7am.
Key responsibilities
Proofing and preparing for baking
Mixing and understanding the process of sourdough and yeast dough
Scaling
Hand moulding, shaping, and cutting breads
About you
2-3 years experience with sourdoughs, hand moulding, shaping, and cutting breads
Knowledge of deck ovens and baking
Knowledge of a wide variety of different types of flours and seeds
Mixing experience and understanding the process of sourdough and yeast dough
Solid work ethic and attention to detail
Flexibility and availability to work across rotating roster including weekdays and weekends
