The Opportunity

Rehabilitation/Geriatrics
Physician to take over a well-established private practice following the planned retirement of the current Visiting Medical Officer (VMO).

The Role
n
You will provide specialist rehabilitation services across inpatient and day rehabilitation programs, including:

Comprehensive admission assessments and rehabilitation planning
n
Ongoing inpatient and day rehabilitation management
n
Clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
n
Coordination of patient-centred rehabilitation programs
n
Discharge planning and continuity of care
n
Opportunity to further develop and expand private rehabilitation services
n
n

Requirements
n
n
Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM) or RACP Geriatrics equivalent
n
Specialist Registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA in
Rehabilitation/Geriatrics
Medicine
n
Experience in inpatient and/or day rehabilitation medicine
n
Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team skills
