Commercially focused | Senior leadership role | Drive business performance
n An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experiencedFinance Managerto take the lead on financial performance, commercial decision-making and financial governance.
n
This is ahigh-impact, hands-on roleworking closely with the General Manager and operational leadership team. Approximately 75% of the position is focused on operational and commercial finance, with the balance supporting broader Group Finance requirements.

The Role
n

Lead financial performance, reporting, controls and governance.
n
Partner with senior leadership to drive profitability and informed decision-making.
n
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and monthly management reporting.
n
Provide commercial input intoestimating, tendering, project costing and pricing.
n
Analyse labour, material and overhead costs to improve margins.
n
Monitor project profitability, inventory, procurement and working capital.
n
Manage statutory reporting, tax obligations, audit and financial compliance.
n
Support contract invoicing, milestone payments and lender covenant requirements.
n
Oversee payroll and provide support across key HR processes.
n




Contribute to Group reporting, Board reporting and broader finance initiatives.
n
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and financial performance.
n

About You
n
You're a commercially minded finance skilled who cango beyond the numbers. You'll be confident partnering with operational leaders, challenging assumptions and turning financial data into practical business decisions.
n You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Finance Manager or senior commercial finance experience.
n
Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cashflow skills.
n
Experience with project costing, estimating or
manufacturing/engineering
environments (highly regarded).
n
Strong commercial and analytical capability.
n
Sound knowledge of financial controls, compliance and statutory reporting.
n
Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
n
CA/CPA or relevant tertiary qualifications highly regarded.
