Diesel Mechanic – Civil & Earthmoving
n
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team, servicing and maintaining trucks, plant and heavy machinery across a range of civil and earthmoving projects.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Carrying out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on trucks, plant and heavy machinery
n
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic faults
n
Completing daily inspections and ensuring equipment is safe and roadworthy
n
Must be able to use GPS units
n
Musk be able to use a Rock Saw safely and competently when required
n
Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
n
Keeping equipment, workshop areas and tools clean and well maintained
n
Working alongside operators, supervisors and site crews
n
Following all site and company safety procedures
n

About you
n




n
Qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic
n
Experience working on trucks, earthmoving equipment and civil machinery
n
Confident using GPS systems
n
Must be able to operate a Rock Saw
n
Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
Good understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems
n
Reliable, punctual and safety focused
n
Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
White Card
n
Current driver's licence
n
Good attitude and strong work ethic
