Gecko Cloud Solutions is growing, and we're looking for an experienced HR Manager who wants to elevate their career and become an important part of our next chapter.
This isn't an internal HR role where you'll spend every day working within the same organisation.
You'll become a trusted HR partner to a diverse portfolio of Australian businesses across
construction, medical and professional services
, helping business owners and managers build stronger teams, navigate people challenges and create better workplaces.
And you won't be doing it alone.

What your role will look like
No two clients — or days — will be exactly the same.
You'll work closely with business owners and leadership teams, providing practical, commercially focused HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle.
Your role will include:
Acting as a trusted HR partner to a portfolio of clients
Providing practical advice on employee relations and workplace matters
Performance management and difficult conversations
Award interpretation and employment conditions
Employment contracts, policies and HR documentation
Recruitment, onboarding and offboarding




Workforce planning and organisational structure
Supporting managers to become better people leaders
Managing workplace investigations and employee issues when required
Developing practical HR processes and systems
Helping clients improve culture, engagement and retention
Identifying opportunities to strengthen our clients' overall people strategy
Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to
build genuine relationships with clients and see the impact of your work.
Who we're looking for
You're an experienced HR professional who loves the people side of business but also understands that good HR needs to work commercially.
You enjoy variety, problem-solving and becoming the person business owners trust when they need HR guidance.
You'll ideally bring:
Solid generalist HR experience at HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor level
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and the Fair Work framework
Experience managing employee relations and performance matters
Confidence working directly with business owners and senior leaders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent judgement, professionalism and confidentiality
The ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
A practical, solutions-focused approach to HR
Experience across
construction, trades, medical,



healthcare or professional services
would be highly regarded.
Consulting or outsourced HR experience would be fantastic — but if you've spent your career internally and are ready for something broader, we'd still love to hear from you.
