An experienced solicitor position on a full-time basis for an initial six-month maternity leave position, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.
The successful applicant will work across a variety of property and commercial matters, with a particular focus on conveyancing and property transactions.
Key responsibilities
Work on property and commercial transactions
Review, draft and/or advise on commercial and retail leases
Manage matters efficiently and confidently
Communicate professionally with clients, other solicitors and third parties
About you
A minimum of two years' post-admission experience as a solicitor
Experience handling residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters
Solid working knowledge and practical experience using PEXA
Experience reviewing, drafting and/or advising on commercial and retail leases (preferred)
Good legal research and analytical skills
Superior written and oral communication skills
Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
A practical and commercially minded approach to legal issues
Current Australian working and residency rights




Comfortable taking ownership of matters and places a high value on providing excellent client service
