You'll step into a hands-on Maintenance & Grounds Officer role where you can see the results of your work every day.
Primarily focused on general maintenance, you'll help keep the village safe, functional and well presented, while also supporting grounds and gardening work as needed — particularly during the spring and summer growing months.
Offering a secure permanent part-time role working 26 hours per week at $***** per hour, you'll enjoy consistent daytime hours across four days:
Tuesday: 8:00am–3:00pm (30-minute break)
Wednesday: 8:00am–3:00pm (30-minute break)
Thursday: 8:00am–3:00pm (30-minute break)
Friday: 9:00am–4:00pm (30-minute break)

What You Will Be Working On
You'll support the day-to-day upkeep of the village, with maintenance forming the main part of your role and grounds work undertaken as required.
General maintenance, minor repairs and routine upkeep
Basic plumbing and building maintenance
Grounds, mowing and gardening support, particularly during spring and summer
Waste management and site cleanliness
Logging and managing maintenance tasks using an online system
What Type Of Person Will Be Successful
You're practical, reliable and comfortable working independently.
You take pride in your work and approach tasks with a steady, organised mindset.
You'll bring:
Experience in general maintenance, property upkeep or a similar hands-on role
Confidence using mowing and basic outdoor equipment
Basic computer skills
A current driver's licence
The ability to manage your workload and priorities
A bus licence or equivalent would be desirable, but is not essential
