About the Role
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experiencedBroker Assistantto provide day-to-day lending and application support to their broker team.
The Broker Assistant will work closely with brokers to prepare and progress loan applications acrossresidential and commercial lending.
This role requires someone withstrong credit sensewho can understand a client's lending position, identify documentation requirements and prepare complete and accurate application files for the Credit Team to assess.
The role does not require lengthy credit submissions, but strong attention to detail and an understanding of credit requirements are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Support brokers withresidential and commercial loan applications.
Collect, review and organise client financial information and supporting documentation.
Apply strongcredit senseto identify missing information, inconsistencies or potential issues before assessment.
Prepare complete and accurate application files for submission to the Credit Team.
Liaise with clients to obtain required information and outstanding documentation.




Work closely with brokers and the Credit Team to progress applications efficiently.
Follow up on application requirements and assist with documentation queries.
Maintain accurate client and application records throughout the lending process.
Provide general administrative and operational support to the broker team.
About You
Previous experience inmortgage broking, broker support, lending, loan processing or credit support.
Experience acrossboth residential and commercial lending.
Strongcredit senseand understanding of lending and documentation requirements.
Good understanding of the loan application and credit assessment process.
Solid attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate and complete application files.
Confident communicating with clients to collect information and documentation.
Strong organisation and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple applications.
Able to work effectively with brokers, clients and Credit teams.
