Night Baker | Lord Howe Island | Accommodation Available
This is a bakery role located on Lord Howe Island, involving preparing and baking fresh breads, muffins and other bakery products for the following day.
You will start work in the evening/night to ensure products are ready for breakfast and service.
The role involves adapting to a small, remote hospitality operation where flexibility and teamwork are particularly key.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and baking fresh breads, muffins and other bakery products for the following day
Starting work in the evening/night to ensure products are ready for breakfast and service
Mixing, shaping, proving and baking dough according to recipes and production requirements
Preparing doughs and components in advance and managingfermentation/proofingtimes




Maintaining consistent quality, presentation and portion sizes
Keeping the bakery/kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food-safety requirements
Monitoring stock levels and helping management withordering/preparationof ingredients
Working independently during overnight hours while communicating with thekitchen/hospitalityteam
Following workplace health and safety procedures
About you
Previous commercial baking experience
Good time management
Reliability
Ability to work overnight independently
Food-safety knowledge
Willingness to live/work on Lord Howe Island
