What you need
Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics or steel fabrication
Robust attention to detail and the ability to accurately read delivery documentation
Basic computer and data entry skills
Good communication and customer service skills
A current Forklift (LF) licence and proven experience handling steel products
Full PPE (long sleeve hi-vis, steel caps, hard hat, and safety glasses)
Strong work ethic and a commitment to workplace safety
What you will be doing
Receiving, inspecting,



identifying and recording customer steel products
Checking delivery dockets and purchase orders against goods received
Inspecting incoming products for damage, contamination, rust, paint, and overall suitability
Measuring and verifying product descriptions and quantities
Preparing and attaching identification and special instruction tags to materials
Accurately recording receiving information into the site's 'Visual Shop' system
Reporting any damaged or non-conforming items to the Supervisor and communicating with customers regarding receiving issues
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised receiving area
