Are you looking for more than just another recruitment role?
Change Education Recruitment is a new education recruitment business, and we're looking for a driven and personable Recruitment Consultant to join us at an exciting stage of our journey.
Based in the Sydney CBD near St James Station, you'll have the opportunity to be part of a start‐up from the beginning, help shape how we work and play an important role in growing the business.
For now, our focus is permanent recruitment across the education sector. As the business grows, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to develop your desk, take on greater responsibility and build a long‐term career with us.
The role
You'll manage the full permanent recruitment process, building genuine relationships with schools, education providers and candidates.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing new client relationships across the education sector
Building and managing your own portfolio of clients
Sourcing, screening and interviewing education professionals
Writing and advertising engaging job advertisements
Matching candidates with suitable permanent opportunities
Managing recruitment processes from initial introduction through to placement
Maintaining regular contact with clients and candidates
Contributing ideas and helping shape the growth of the business
About you




We're looking for someone who is naturally relationship-focused, motivated and excited by the opportunity to join a growing business.
You may already have recruitment experience, ideally within education or permanent recruitment, or you may come from a strong sales or business development background and be ready to move into recruitment.
Recruitment, sales or business development experience
Solid communication and relationship‐building skills
A proactive and self‐motivated approach
Confidence speaking with both clients and candidates
Valuable organisation and attention to detail
A genuine interest in education
The ability to work independently while contributing to a close‐kith team
An entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for working in a start‐up environment

A base salary of $80k-$95k, depending on experience
Uncapped commission with no threshold, you'll start earning commission from your first placement
