BH Electrics is a busy, well-established electrical contracting business in Port Douglas, and we're after an electrician to join our crew full-time. If you're a qualified sparky who's good with people, happy to turn your hand to anything, and keen on the kind of lifestyle most people only get two weeks a year — read on.

About us

We're a local, family-owned outfit with a solid team and the business has been operating for 9 years. We look after a genuinely mixed bag of clients — resorts, pubs, builders, real estate agents, strata managers, homeowners, tourism spots and even the local barramundi farm. No two days are the same, and the work's steady all year round.

The role
n
You'll be out servicing and maintaining a great spread of jobs across the Douglas region — a resort one day, a pub, a home or a commercial site the next. It's hands-on, customer-facing work where we trust you to rock up, sort the problem and leave a tidy job behind you. You'll have the backing of a well-run team, proper systems and a fully stocked, maintained work ute.

What you'll need

Queensland electrical licence
n
Current driver's licence
n




Solid all-round experience across commercial and domestic — service, maintenance and fault-finding
n
The people skills to deal with our clients directly (a lot of our work is repeat business)
n
Someone reliable who takes pride in their work
n
n
Handy, but not deal-breakers
n
n
Air-conditioning and refrigeration (ARCtick)
n
Data, comms or fire tickets
n
n
