Senior Engineer
, you'll work closely with a Principal Engineer and wider product, engineering and architecture teams to deliver a recent flagship
Salesforce-based digital platform
, including application development, integrations, data migration and legacy system decommissioning.
About the role
You'll be responsible for the technical design and delivery of Salesforce solutions across customer-facing applications and complex service journeys.
Key responsibilities include
Design and develop scalable Salesforce applications, data models and integrations.
Build and enhance solutions using
Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
.
Work across
Salesforce Service Cloud and customer-facing portals
.
Design and implement integrations using Salesforce APIs and established integration patterns.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies, technical design and solution planning.
Develop, test and deploy high-quality software using modern engineering and DevOps practices.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot defects and contribute to quality assurance.
Support data migration, go-live, system transition and legacy platform decommissioning.
Collaborate with product managers, BAs, designers, architects and business stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.

What we're looking for
Essential
Strong hands-on
Salesforce development experience
, particularly
Apex and LWC
.
Experience delivering multiple new Salesforce platforms or application builds.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform limits, performance and security.
Experience with
Salesforce Service Cloud
and customer-facing portals.
Experience designing Salesforce integrations using APIs and standard integration patterns.
Exposure to
MuleSoft or similar integration platforms
.
Experience with
Salesforce DevOps, source-driven development and CI/CD
, ideally using Azure DevOps.
Understanding of
Public Sector Solutions (PSS)
and government/regulatory Salesforce environments.
Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on quality and delivery.
Desirable
Experience with
OmniStudio
, including OmniScripts, DataRaptors and Integration Procedures.
Advanced Salesforce Flow and automation experience.
Exposure to
Agentforce / Einstein
and responsible AI implementation.
Strong Apex testing and enterprise deployment practices.
This is an 11 month contract - start date ASAP
Rate is between $1,000 to $1,200 + Super depending on experience
Hybrid work arrangements - 2 in office / 3 from home
Based in Sydney - no fully remote option available.
