Perf's Fabrication & Welding Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join our growing team, servicing a range of fabrication projects and mine sites throughout the Hunter Valley.
n
We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work and is keen to develop their skills within the fabrication industry. This is a excellent opportunity for someone with previous workshop, fabrication, construction or mine-site experience who enjoys hands‐on work and being part of a team.

About the Role
n
Working on a Monday to Friday roster, you will provide support to our boilermakers and welders across a variety of heavy and light fabrication, maintenance, repair and installation projects.
n
Your duties may include:
n
n
Assisting boilermakers and welders with fabrication and maintenance work
n
Preparing materials for fabrication
n
Cutting, grinding, drilling and cleaning materials
n
Using hand and power tools
n
Moving and handling materials and equipment
n
Assisting with the setup and pack‐up of work areas
n
General workshop duties and housekeeping
n
Assisting tradespeople with day‐to‐day tasks
n
Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
n
Following all workplace and mine‐site safety requirements
n
