Position Overview

The Leading Hand Carpenter supervises and coordinates carpentry works on commercial construction sites, combining hands-on skills with strong leadership. This role leads a team to deliver high-quality projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
n
Interpret and work from construction drawings, plans, and specifications
n
Maintain compliance with WHS (Work Health & Safety) regulations
n
Working closely with site supervisors
n
Qualifications & Requirements
n
Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
n
Own hand tools
n
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
n
