Job Description
Full Time medium rigid (MR) truck driver required for chilled distribution company.

Must have manual truck Mr license or be willing to upgrade from LR (training and costs covered).

We are a small family-run delivery business that has been operating for 23 years with long-term staff and customers. We operate 6 trucks, 5 manual and 1 automatic.
n
Applicant must be able to work independently on routes and within a small team environment in the coldroom.
n
Previous delivery experience highly regarded.
n
Must be able to problem solve and interact appropriately with customers.
n
Must be physically fit and have valuable time management skills.
n
Trucks operate 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, delivering to multiple customers within Toowoomba area, and southwest downs.
n
Start times vary from 3am,



and as trucks run 6 days, some flexibility in days worked are available, approx. finish times 11am to 12pm.

Applicant can mix delivery shifts with picking in cold-room on different days to break the week up. Home every day. No overnight deliveries.
n
Responsibilities include loading truck, deliveries completed appropriately, organizing stock, operating vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, completion of driver and delivery software.
n
Wages and hours are negotiable for successful candidate, penalty rates applied before 5.30am start and Saturdays.
n
You can opt for an hourly rate or a salary of 50hrs approx. a week.
