Due to continued growth, we're looking for qualified Mechanical Tradespeople to join our Newcastle team. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary package and strong work-life balance — whether you prefer variety or routine, you'll have options.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Branch Manager and working across customer sites (including mining, quarry, smelting, and power generation), your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Performing daily mechanical maintenance tasks
n
Ensuring plant and equipment are secure and reliable
n
Leading, mentoring,



and coordinating trades teams and belt splicers
n
Carrying out pulley and bearing maintenance
n
Liaising with clients and managing expectations onsite
n
Conducting inspections, audits, and reporting to WHSE standards
n
Supporting the training and development of team members
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering – Mechanical or Engineering – Fabrication
n
Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
n
Dogging and Rigging tickets
n
Ability to work independently and lead small teams
n
Strong communication and client liaison skills
n
A safety-first mindset with WHSE experience
n
Comfortable mentoring less experienced staff
n
