The Builders Club is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waitstaff for our Stonegrill Restaurant and Platform 61 Bistro and Baristas to join our team in Wollongong NSW. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst being part of a energetic hospitality environment. You will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Whether you're taking orders, serving meals, crafting specialty beverages, or managing the bar, your role is pivotal in ensuring our customers enjoy their time with us.

Key responsibilities
n

Greeting guests warmly and seating them at tables in a timely and efficient manner
n
Taking accurate food and beverage orders whilst providing knowledgeable recommendations
n
Delivering meals and drinks promptly and professionally to tables
n
Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks and cocktails
n
Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments accurately and securely
n
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, bar spaces and service stations
n
Responding promptly to guest requests and concerns with a positive attitude
n
Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations during service
n
Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
n
Contributing to a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all guests
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Previous experience in hospitality, wait service, or barista roles is highly desirable
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with diverse customers
n




Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service standards
n
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
n
The ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to assist team members as needed
n
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely
n
Availability to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
Current food handling certification or willingness to obtain one
n
