We are seeking reliable chefs and kitchen hands to join our casual stadium culinary teamatMcDonald Jones StadiuminNewcastle
This role involves working across a wide variety of events, from corporate functions to large-scale stadium and hospitality events.
You'll be part of a fast-paced kitchen environment supporting the delivery of high-quality food service at events of all sizes.
This isevent-based casual work, meaning shifts are scheduled around specific events.
Hours may vary depending on event schedules, including early starts, late finishes and weekends.
About the Roles




Assisting chefs with food preparation
Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Event Chefs
Preparing and cooking food for events
Working across various service styles (plated, buffet, corporate and large-scale service)
Maintaining quality, presentation and consistency
Supporting kitchen operations in high-volume environments
What We're Looking For
Reliable, punctual and hardworking team members
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy event environment
A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but not essential for Kitchen Hands
A Cert III or higher Culinary Qualification is required for Chef roles.
A valid Food Safety Certificate is required for both roles.
