Job Description
An experienced solicitor position on a full-time basis for an initial six-month maternity leave position, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. The successful applicant will work across a variety of property and commercial matters, with a particular focus on conveyancing and property transactions.

Key responsibilities

Work on property and commercial transactions

Review, draft and/or advise on commercial and retail leases
n
Manage matters efficiently and confidently
n
Communicate professionally with clients, other solicitors and third parties
n
About you
n
A minimum of two years' post-admission experience as a solicitor
n
Experience handling residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters
n
Strong working knowledge and practical experience using PEXA
n
Experience reviewing, drafting and/or advising on commercial and retail leases (preferred)
n
Good legal research and analytical skills
n
Superior written and oral communication skills
n
Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
n
A practical and commercially minded approach to legal issues
n
Current Australian working and residency rights
n




Comfortable taking ownership of matters and places a high value on providing excellent client service
