Commerce Joinery & Cabinets is seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator / Draftsperson to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong cabinetry background who enjoys a varied role combining estimating, drafting, project coordination, and client interaction.
Working closely with builders, project managers, and our production team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cabinetry projects from concept through to manufacture.
About the Role
Preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates from plans and specifications
Producing detailed shop drawings and manufacturing documentation
Interpreting architectural and joinery plans
Liaising with builders, suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders
Material take-offs and procurement assistance
Managing variations and updating project documentation
Supporting production and project teams throughout the delivery process
Ensuring drawings and estimates are completed accurately and within deadlines
About You
Experience in cabinet making, joinery, or shopfitting
Estimating and/or drafting experience within the cabinetry industry
Proficiency in CabMaster, or similar software.




Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods and hardware
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly Regarded
Experience with commercial projects
Knowledge of procurement and project coordination
Experience working with production/manufacturing teams
