John R Keith (NSW) Pty Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Plumbing Apprentices to join our team in Sydney NSW.
This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the plumbing trade.
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced plumbers, gaining hands‐on experience whilst developing the technical skills and knowledge required to become a qualified tradesperson.
This role is essential to our business as it ensures we maintain a pipeline of skilled professionals to meet the growing demand for quality plumbing services across Sydney.
What you'll be doing
Assisting qualified plumbers on residential, commercial and industrial plumbing projects
Learning and practising fundamental plumbing techniques including pipe fitting, installation and repair
Preparing work areas and gathering required tools and materials under supervision
Following health and safety protocols and maintaining compliance with workplace standards
Troubleshooting plumbing issues and understanding diagnostic procedures
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of work completed
Developing knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations and best practices
Assisting with water supply systems, drainage systems, and heating installations
Supporting the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
What we're looking for
Year 12 (or equivalent) as a minimum requirement
A genuine passion for the plumbing trade and commitment to learning
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Reliability,



punctuality and a strong work ethic
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
A valid Australian driver's licence (preferred, as some roles may require travel to job sites)
No prior plumbing experience necessary – we will provide comprehensive training
