Quick & Cool Refrigerated Couriers is a family-owned refrigerated transport company servicing South East Queensland and regional Queensland.
We are looking for a practical, hands-on person to join our team as an MR Driver / Operations Coordinator.
This role is ideal for an experienced MR driver, warehouse operator or logistics employee looking to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to transport operations, scheduling and business management.
Full training will be provided in transport coordination and scheduling for the right person.
This is not a desk-only role.
Some days you will be driving, some days coordinating deliveries, assisting customers, loading freight or helping manage fleet and operational requirements.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position plays an important role in the day-to-day running of our business.
You will assist across all areas of the operation including:
Local MR delivery driving
Loading and unloading refrigerated freight
Forklift operation
Customer service and booking enquiries
Transport scheduling and coordination
Fleet maintenance administration
Delivery documentation and compliance records




Warehouse support and freight handling
Covering annual leave and operational requirements as needed
No two days are the same and the successful applicant must be willing to assist wherever required.
Current Medium Rigid (MR) Licence
Current Forklift Licence
Strong work ethic and reliability
Good communication and customer service skills
Basic to intermediate computer skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Full Australian working rights
Desirable but Not Essential
Experience in transport, warehousing, logistics or distribution
Experience operating refrigerated vehicles
Experience using transport management systems
Scheduling or dispatch experience
Fleet administration experience
What We Offer
$70,000 - $75,000 salary plus superannuation
Quarterly performance bonus of up to $1,250
Maximum annual bonus of $5,000

Important
This is a genuine hands-on role.
Applicants must be comfortable driving MR vehicles, operating a forklift, loading and unloading freight, assisting customers and working in both operational and administrative environments.
This role is approximately 50% hands-on operational work and 50% transport coordination and administration.
