Supaguard Fencing is a leading supplier of commercial fencing, gate and security products.

We are looking for an energetic and commercially minded Trade Sales Representative – Internal to join our Rocklea team.
n
This is a hands‐on internal sales role looking after an established base of trade and commercial customers while actively following up quotes, enquiries and new sales opportunities.
n

What you'll be doing
n
n
Handle inbound customer calls, emails and sales enquiries
n
Prepare quotations and process customer orders
n
Proactively follow up quotes, leads and open sales opportunities
n
Contact existing customers to maintain and grow relationships
n
Develop new business opportunities with potential customers
n
Provide product advice and help customers find the right solution
n
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross‐sell
n
Maintain accurate customer, quote and follow‐up information in our CRM
n
Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure orders are supplied correctly and on time
n
Take ownership of customer enquiries from initial contact through to order completion
n

What we're looking for
n
You will ideally be someone who:
n
n
Enjoys talking to customers and building strong relationships
n
Has previous internal sales, trade sales or customer‐facing sales experience
n
Is confident making outbound calls and following up opportunities
n
Takes initiative rather than waiting for customers to call
n
Is organised and follows through on commitments
n
Has strong attention to detail
n




Is comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
n
Enjoys working in a busy sales environment
n
Has a positive attitude and works well within a team
n
Understands that strong customer service and solid sales performance go hand in hand
n
n
Trade or industry experience highly regarded
n
Previous experience selling products into any of the following industries would be a strong advantage:
n
Building materials | Steel supplies | Fencing | Hardware | Construction supplies | Industrial products | Trade supplies
n
Experience dealing with builders, fencing contractors, fabricators, tradespeople or commercial customers would also be highly regarded.
n
However, attitude, communication skills and a genuine willingness to develop business are just as important.
