Zipline, Facilities & Compliance Coordinator

The Zipline, Facilities & Compliance Coordinator plays a critical senior operational role within The Fly's, Australia Fly & Climb (AFC). The position blends hands-on maintenance delivery with structured contractor governance, compliance oversight, labour performance accountability and operational leadership influence. The role is accountable for asset integrity, inspection readiness, occupancy-aligned labour performance, weather-related operational decisions and third-party coordination while supporting the General Manager in maintaining safe, effective and audit-ready operations across AFC sites.

Key responsibilities

Oversee pre-start, daily and scheduled inspections of zipline infrastructure and operational assets
n
Ensure ongoing reliability of platforms, landings, access ways and associated safety systems
n
Monitor weather conditions including wind thresholds, lightning proximity and severe weather alerts
n
Exercise delegated authority to pause or close zipline operations when safety thresholds are met
n




Lead delivery of preventative and reactive maintenance programs across buildings, grounds and infrastructure
n
Undertake and coordinate trade-based works including carpentry, fabrication, plumbing, concreting and general repairs
n
Monitor rostered labour hours against agreed occupancy forecasts and seasonal demand profiles
n
Coordinate and actively work with third-party providers, specialist contractors and suppliers engaged onsite
n
Review and verify contractor SWMS, insurances, licences and compliance documentation prior to works commencement
n
Support the General Manager with operational insight, labour visibility and risk awareness
n
About you
n
Physical role requiring manual handling, outdoor work and varied terrain exposure
n
Ability to work weekends, peak periods and occasional after-hours/on-call requirements
n
Willingness to travel between AFC sites as required
n
Zipline or High Ropes experience will be an advantage
n
Working with children and First Aid, Must have or currently undertaking.
