n A well-respected NSW Government organisation is seeking two experienced Senior Media Advisors to join its high-profile corporate division. These roles offer the prospect to support key state-wide initiatives while managing high-profile and contentious issues. Ideal candidates will bring strong government experience, sound media judgement and a proactive approach.

ASAP start through to 31 March ****, based in Parramatta, with regional candidates considered.

The Job.....
n Reporting to the Director, Senior Media Advisors will be responsible for:
n
n
Coordinate media content with the Media Manager and relevant experts.
n
Identify and manage emerging media and reputational risks.
n
Advise executives and teams on media and communications strategies.
n
Draft media releases, statements and responses.
n
Support campaigns,



events and key initiatives with proactive media engagement.
n
Prepare speeches, briefings and FAQs.
n
Maintain relationships with journalists, Ministerial Offices and senior stakeholders.
n
n
You.....
n To succeed in these roles, you will have demonstrated experience in:
n
n
5+ years' experience in media and/or journalism.
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
n
Strong media relations, issues management and reputational risk skills.
n
Excellent writing, editing and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
n
Ability to deliver accurate, timely communications across competing priorities.
