Spicers is a national Company with offices and warehouses in every state and territory in Australia. We are a leading provider of products and services to the print, design and advertising industries. Our range is targeted to various print segments and includes fine paper, Visual Communication materials, synthetics, self-adhesives, packaging grades and a number of other substrates.

We currently have a role for a Sheeter Machine Operator based at our Dingley site, which specialises in Food Packaging.
n
This day shift role will work from 6am-2.30pm and is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
n
Hourly rate payable is $***** and all conditions are in accordance with the site Enterprise Agreement.
n
About this Position
n
Reporting to the Team Leader the main duties will include:
n
n
Production of a quality product conforming to current quality control standards
n
Pack finished product to specified standards ready for despatch
n




Cutting reels of paper into specified smaller sizes
n
Set up machine according to job specifications
n
Identify and resolve mechanical or product issues
n
n
To succeed in this role you will need:
n
n
Prior sheeting machine, or similar machine operation experience
n
Interest in guillotine machine training
n
Prior experience in the print industry would be highly desirable
n
Demonstrable knowledge of machine maintenance and repair
n
Right to Work in Australia (essential).
