The Opportunity

As a Chef / cook, you'll be an integral part of our kitchen team, contributing to the creation and execution of our innovative menu. Whether you're a seasoned culinary expert or an aspiring talent, we welcome all levels of chef who are eager to learn, grow, and share their culinary expertise.

Key Responsibilities
n

Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with our recipes and restaurant standards, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
n
Stock & Kitchen Organisation: Assist with stock control, ingredient preparation, and storage while maintaining a clean, organised, and well-functioning kitchen.
n
Kitchen Operations: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, service, inventory management,
and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.
n
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency, ensuring every dish meets our restaurant standards.
n
Teamwork & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service, effective communication, and a positive dining experience for our guests.

Who We Are Looking For

Relevant Experience: 1-2 years of experience working in a Japanese restaurant or Japanese cuisine is preferred.
n
Positive Attitude: Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to contribute to a hardworking and respectful team.
n
Willingness to Learn: Be open to feedback and eager to develop your skills and knowledge.
n
Responsibility: Take pride in your work and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality.
