We're looking for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner to play a pivotal role in delivering proactive, prevention-focused health, safety and wellbeing outcomes across Council. This is an prospect to work closely with leaders and employees to build capability, manage risk and support a safe, compliant and high-performing workplace.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Provide trusted advice and guidance on occupational healthand safety, risk management and compliance obligations
n
Manage WorkCover claims and coordinating effectivereturn-to-work outcomes
n
Partner with leaders to strengthen safety
leadership,accountability
and risk ownership
n
Lead incident investigations and supporting theidentification and implementation of corrective actions
n
Investigate psychosocial hazards and supporting initiativesthat promote psychological health and wellbeing
n
Deliver training, coaching and continuous




improvementactivities
that strengthen workplace safety performance
n

What you'll bring
n
n
Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, HumanResources, Injury Management or a related discipline
n
Strong knowledge of Victorian OHS legislation, WorkCoverand Return-to-Work requirements
n
Experience in health and safety, injury management oradvisory roles
n
Highly developed stakeholder engagement, coaching andinfluencing skills
n
Strong analytical thinking, risk assessment andproblem-solving capabilities
n
n
Pre-Employment Requirements
n
Progressed candidates will be required to complete a National Police Record Check and a Working With Children Check(WWCC).
n
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted working rights. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
